I'd say it's easier than scratch spriting but way harder than splicing. However, if you're not really good at it (not that you're not), your repose will probably look terrible.

Try somebody simple like Ditto or Magnemite. I haven't even attempted any difficult pokemon yet.

I tryed both out and i'm still working on them....Magnemite's looking better than Ditto though.

Yeah, even though Ditto is simple, it might be difficult to get the shape and shading right.

I strongly encourage that you do. If you really want to "splice" it, be my guest, but don't say that you made it from scratch.
